Hey I was lucky to enjoy all these. We had huge garden in my house of 1200 sq meter. Butterfly's' of different color and different sizes were common phenomenon.
I have even spotted different birds nesting on the trees. Do you know how pleasant is bird chirp in morning?

I think I have seen enough. Quest is will my children or grand children experience it ? I am sad to say no.
if all these sweet environment existed just 15 years back then where it's all gone.
These question is asked by so many people. Everyone feels good that these questions are asked and does absolutely nothing.
Have all the fun has been left out in few acres of park for everyone to see? why is it so? sometimes back it use to be in our courtyards where it is gone now?
Ok! now is the common complaint, we stay in apartment how can we do it in apartment?
Common are is for everyone. you can plant any tree out there. By default builder will plant something which grows big and flashy to cover maximum area.
Still butterfly's can be attracted by growing few flowering plants. who stops from planting flowering plants.
But then we expect builder to do it.
Why builder? don't you feel common area is for everyone. Ok, next question "paise lagte hai bhai". one single flowering plant of hibiscus costs 40-50 rs. don't you feel it is less then a pan pizza, or less then tiffin for two?
Fundamental problem is we don't want to take up initiative. We expect others to do. I was no different from others, just in company of few I have changed.
We planted over dozen of plants in Suncity Euphoria which will bloom and will give shade when they grow.
Most pleasing site was on one of the semi grown tree we spotted 2-3 parrots having their daily snack of beans.
It was indeed a nice site to see. After all all the efforts paid off. we spot the parrots almost 3 times month.
Well some feel that rodents enter the house if there are too many plants next to house. "Are behenji, chuhe tabhi aayenge jab aapka ghar gandha ho" . if you have lot of waste in your house which accidentally happens to be food of rodents then they will sneak in your house.
Best way to protect you house from rodents is not to chop of the three next your house, but to do proper waste management. Unfortunately this happened to be real life experience. These kinds of minds are unbelievable and bags honorary place in labs of NASA for specimen analysis.
There are quite a few flowering plants we had planted. Some of them started to bloom.
But then some oldies are plucking them in morning for "Pooja" I believe, of course they will not give it to their better half's at these age.
Are grandpa's,grandma's and all who pluck the flowers you have seen enough when you were young. Now let your grand children experience what you describe them as beautiful world. Let them see how flower blooms and what are the stages of flower blooming. Are we saying that our children should experience these on internet videos? we crib on pollution always and says pollution is killing us.
only rescue from pollution is to plant trees and get the greenery back. And for the god sake do not pluck the flowers even if they are available for free.
Lord Ganesha will not get dissatisfied if you offer him blue colored orchid in place of nicely blooming red/pink hibiscus.
It's Okay to pick the flower which has fallen on ground and use it for god. His highness will not mind.

Can you imaging above picture without flowers? if not then go to Sun city euphoria block A and see it yourself.
Those who stay in these costly apartment are capable of buying 10 rs flowers to be put on god, aren't we?
there are millions of flowers which can be grown in fertile lands of India. Out of which if you plant even 100's of them in one place then you will not have to visit garden.
if above flowers attract you then buy them and plant them in your house. Nursery's are everywhere and most of them have well qualified people to guide you.
One can buy perennial (all season flowering) or seasonal plants.
How about planting 5 plant's a family and take a oath to protect the nature. After all we need to leave something for others to live.
