Vyaas Almighty

Do you know who is महर्षि व्यास ?


Who doesn't know about महर्षि व्यास ? Indian culture would be orphan without his enormous contribution


This was the words I read first when I was reading mahabharata epic. Thanks to my beloved friends who teased my general knowledge to death. This made me go and read the epic.


well I was so much fascinated by this person व्यास?


and what are his contribution(s)?





well here it is.


Sage परासर got fascinated with fisherwomen मत्श्यगंधा and gave birth to व्यास


story of mahabharat is written by Vyaas . It starts from hastinapur king Dushyant.


He goes out for a hunt and find's himself being hunted by "shakuntala"।


Yep Shakuntala is very beautiful women. She is born beccause Mr. Indra wanted to spoil the penance of sage vishwamitra as it would result is devastation. So he sends menaka to spoil his penance. Indra succeeds and shakuntala is born.


Shatanu and Ganga gave birth to bhisma. Actually ganga gave birth to 8 childrens last one of them is bhisma and she drowned rest of them.


This same shantanu after 8 kids fell for satyawati, gorgeous daughter of fisherman. They gave birth to two kids. Out of them one died and other got married to ambika and ambalika. Satyavati also had a relationship with sage parasar. Now I think I am loosing the track.


So satyawati beccame mother of vyaas. satyawati's both the kids dies before giving birth to any kins.


Satyawati asks bhisma to go in for relationship with the two girls ambika and ambalika. Bhisma refuses and then vyaas is called for relationship(s).


first one to go was ambika and she gave birth to blind Dhritirastra. ambalika gives birth to pandu. Satyawati asks vyaas to enter the relationship again with ambika but this time ambika scared by vyaas looks sends in her maid. Now vyaas is so engrossed and he did't even notice that it is a different girl? huh...


vidur thus was born to the maid.


Kunti mother of pandavas had a boon that she can get kid from any almighty she wants. wow what a boon.


so she experiments this boon out of curiosity and sun god appears. aaa-haaaa boon is boon kunti just tried for the sake of it but now she has to face the concequences. karna is born to kunti of sun god. she abondons him as she is unmarried.


Pandu later got married to kunti first and then mandri.. Two wifes for pandu who turned useless with curse and one each for dhritirastra & Vidur? that's strange and quite mysterious.

Now who are Kaurava's? how on the earth 100 of them?
Oh the holy vyaas is again responsible for 101 kaurava's. hundred and one! can you guys believe it?


Gandhari is said to be blessed from vyaas to have 101 kids. One can infer any meaning from this statement.


What about kunti and mandri. kunti had boons so she used then to get three sons from wind god, dharma and indra. while mandi desired ashwinikumar and got nakul and sakdev who are portrayed as handsome kids.

Aaah!.. what a complication!
well this all explains why epic of mahabharata would have been orphan without Maharshi Vyaas Ji!

Time travel ?

Time machine is a nice concept. But the question remains unanswered is the time a frozen event?

Is it like a film roll of the movie which viewed as a still? if yes the there is a chance that we can view this event but cannot interfear with it. This makes more sense to me.

Most of the science fiction movies with genere Time travel does this goof up of interacting with the past and changing the future. And for most of the time things go write. If you want to change your past then there is fair bit of risk that the alter in past can result in your non-existance.
Only one movie gives a hint of it is Back to the future.

we do see the past evry day but we cannot alter the same. What we see with our eyes is past of fraction of second.


what we see with our eyes is the light reflected on the object. Time taken by the light is million time faster then the movement of the object what we see. That makes u see things which are happening now. but actually it is fraction of seconds past what we see.


What if the speed of the light was 1mm/hour ? the we would have been seeing continiously past.
beccause by the time reflected light hits the eye object must have moved significant distance.
Just take a example of the video camera which has delay for processing of about 5 seconds. Thi will continiously show you past.
seeing the past is very easy. actually you view it every day on your telivision sets.

But seeing the future is beyond the scope of the logic. It is full of permutation and combinations.

It's all depends upon way you act. not everything is pre-written to happen.

what I belive is future is like a clustor with lot of nodes. At every node you need to do descision as where you have to go. There is a choice at every node.

Take an example your life is divided in 6 stages.

baby,kid,youth,adult,old,exit stage.

At every stage you have a choice to go to the final stage. That means you can die early at any time and it is all in your hands.

Now when you are baby you have a choice to be a good baby or bad baby. comon this is just an example. Actual thing will be complex with multiple nodes.

Now if you choose to be bad baby then you might be in totally different path in subsequent stages then if you have choosen to be a good baby. it's all at the start what you can change the things and make it right.

One can still change its future and every moment. I cannot guerantee how many nodes are present but certainly feel it is less then the number of seconds you live.

I have do not read any books so I have no reference for my theory but I got inspired by one movie "The Butterfly effect".

It's perfectly true that your future is written in your childhood and proper care by your parents can groom it well.

What I believe is astrologers knew this kind of concept in some form and they could tell relating the nodes what you will be. However no one is that intelligent to analyze all the nodes and write your future 100% correct. Some dedicated scholars must have done it in past. Our great epics tells us lot of the prediction done by people. Mahabharata is one of them.

Who knows vyaas has indepth knowledge of these nodes. I have heard of Nostradamus predicting of destruction on earth.

These all great astrologers are people with intense knowledge in their field. Take our case with decade of expirience in our field we also can predict there will be failiure if few things are not taken care.

Think about it!

Cuz future is in your hand.

This piece I have taken from radio one. but they have made hillarious stuff with rajini. ANd best one is the punch line, "If you wink and rajini rajini will stink at you"

And this one is after he hits three goons with ball pen.

"Kana, they might me having long swords but pen is mightier then sword"

in one of the gag he slaps a call center guy who disturbs him while having shower. He puts his hand through phone and his hand comes out of other side of the phone and slaps the call center guy. guy who imitates rajini does full justice to his voice.

strange dreams!

I often get dreams quite strange. I just cannot relate them to anything.

Ok here it goes,
I am going on the bike with Sandeep Belliappa. He turns out to be roller coster rider. He takes me in the building. Now this building resembles more of Oasis mall. one building for mall and other parallel one for parking lot. Sandeep has roller coaster installed in the other building and that's scare house type roller coaster. So you should expect some horror while sitting on the coaster. but when I take the ride I realise that in between sandeep gets down of the coster and scares you hiding in the corners of the building. what the hell. I am not scared.
Then comes meeta and we all go to the terrace of the building. From top the building looks like dack of the ship. We are all talking about the casulties in the hospital. And then I realise that meeta has hospital and the building next our building is an hospital. Then I suddenly see orange ball of light. Well that's not the ball of light but it's a missile and in blink of eye it strikes the hospital. Meeta is screaming and she wants to save the people in the building. But we realise that it's of no use it's all gone. Building has turned into the ball of fire.

Later I realise that she is doctor or somekind who takes care of patients out there. The building is army hospital.
Then scene changes to some screen and that sceen is showing some satellite pictures and in picture we are there seen on the top of the building. I mean me, sandeep, meeta and another person. I realize that we are also be targetted. so we get down of the building and then cut the fence and and take shelter. After this I got up :(

misuse of power.

From Epic Mahabharata- Story of birth of Vyaas

Once Parasar, grandson of Vasistha, went on a
pilgrimage. En route, he had to cross a river. Parasar was fascinated by
Matsyagandha, daughter of a fisherman, who rowed the boat. He desired her but
Matsyagandha was in two minds as they were inside a boat and others can still
see them from distance. Parasar, with his yogic abilities, at once created mist.
Parasar also granted her a boon that ugly smell (common to fisherwomen) from her
body will disappear and a divine smell will come from her body.
Later, a son
was born to them, who became known as Ved Vyasa (as he sequenced and divided
Vedas). Since he was born on dweep (island), he also became known as Dwaipayan.

Even during pre-mahabharata times people with power used to mis use them. And people say we are in "Kaliyug".

Something about monday dinner.

As we book the table for three in our daily dining mess, we see two beautiful ladies dressed almost dressed to kill. Who are they? well my first guess is airline crew members as they are used to wearing realetively long neck out in public.
Lone three guys are always bachelors, shifted their attention towards upcomming eve's.
when all the table are free they took up the place next to us.
One of them dressed with shorter version of Mini and other is in knee height skirt with tank top.
we all almost stopped thinking about what to order. I was sure these people are going to some disc and surely are airline crew member. My friend said they don't look so.
Al this while we thought better we change our language from english to Konkani. It is not good to discuss about females in common language when they are sitting that close. After some time our confusion started beccoming noticeable. Then one waiter approched us we placed our regular order to him. Before going to the kitchen waiter sybolically tells us that those are hookers!
we finished our dinner and disappered!

कहानी हमारे महाभारत की ? Part 1

Today I witnessed the ekta kapoors venture into epic of Mahabharata.
first character to notice was shantanu. I thought coustume of shantanu was copied from decade old character "krur singh" - aka yakku maharaj fame chandrakanta. Satyavati looked real horny dame or direct import of one of the daasi in movie kamasutra. If you notice blood red color is used everywhere। Satyavati in red bedsheet. New baby born in red betsheet. If they used tissue papers that time then that too would have been in blood red. Rest of the crew looks to me copied from gabbar's den.
There is bit technical here, ekta kapoor has changed the way she use to show scened of high intensity drama. In her other sops she shows multiple edited takes. (of course why to waste them)
Mahabharat goes from video mode to film mode for high intensity drama scenes. भीष्म looks nothing less then russell crowe of gladiator. व्यास has some resemblance to बाबा रामदेव except his periodic left eye blink.

beauty and the "beast'S"

" ईस शहर में कीस से मिलें, हम से छूटी मेह्फिलें

These lines perfectly matches about what I used to think a year back. My best friends got married and moved out of bangalore and then at the same time one lady joined. May be that time I was most inactive and bothered little about anything.

This was purely my observation.

My company had carton of blind lovers who will go mad after the beauties. Of course it's not their fault. It is just a human nature to be attracted twords opposite sex ;)

First girl I know used to get cards, chocolates and flowers daily.. Wow! she might be feeling GOD.

Second had more fans following her till TT table. She was one of the slow learner of TT. she used to tell me. you know pravin I always get the partner for TT whenever I go. And I used to say Wow! how come ?

Third one has fans over the globe. I have visual and metal limit upto this world so may not be able to comment on the universe.

well I wrote small poem for all the fans--

"Mai jahan jahan chlunga, mera saaya tere saath hoooga"
